Africa Energies Summit - Setting the Scene, Investment in Zanzibar, Tanzania

Last week, the Zanzibar 1st Licensing Round team took part in the Africa Energies Summit in London.

The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and The Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries officially invited the world’s exploration and production companies to invest in Zanzibar, the next oil & gas frontier! The team presented the Zanzibar sub-basin's true potential as a highly promising region and the session showcased the opportunities with a number of dedicated talks and panel discussion in collaboration with the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries, ZPRA, SLB, and PURA.

In addition to the talks and panel, it was also a delight for the Hon. Shaaban Ali Othman to deliver the Ministerial Opening Keynote speech at the Summit.
